Als Konzert- und Opernsänger sowie als Initiator und künstlerischer Leiter des "Wiegenlieder-Projektes" des Carus- Verlages und des SWR weiß ich sehr wohl um die Bedeutung des Singens für Gesundheit, Wohlbefinden und Lebensfreude. Ich unterstütze darum gerne die Canto Initiative "Singende Krankenhäuser", die Türen öffnen kann, Gesundungsprozesse nachhaltig zu fördern und zu beschleunigen. Singen macht stark.

Singing Hospital is of critical importance for personal empowerment and community connection in hospital environments. As a musical artists and educator focused on singing for healing, I know the power of song for healing and release, both in and out of clinical settings. Contemporary chant with easy-to-sing inspirational words, intuitive song created in the moment for a designated recipient, amd songmaking opportunities, are all aspects of healing music which can be beneficial in such settings.
